As most of you know I recently had an ultrasound for baby #3. I am shocked to hear its ANOTHER GIRL! I guess what do you expect coming from the Johnson family of girls. We are excited just in shock. We thought for sure we were due for a boy this time around. I kept asking the doctor to zoom in on her girl parts because I just didn't believe it. I'm sure he was thinking this lady is CRAZY! After the baby flashed us several times, he said he is 100% sure it is a girl. She is perfectly healthy (her heart, brain, bones, spinal cord, etc.). What more could we ask for, right? Maybe webbed toes like her mom? We can only hope!
Poor Steve is a little out-numbered. Like he said, at least there are some good psychiatric drugs. He might need it in a house full of PMS and cat-fights. We will have to start saving now for all the weddings we will be paying for.
I feel like this is all a dream writing this. I still can't believe I am having another girl! We are excited and the girls can't wait for their little sister to come out. They keep asking, "how much longer?" They thought by going to the doctor's today and finding out the sex of the baby that it was going to come out.
Now the hard part...names. As Steve said, "I hope she likes the name Tyson." That was the only name we picked out because I thought we were due for a boy. We both have agreed on Ashley but I guess we have a few months to figure that out. Any ideas let us know. Also for next time around, those of you who have boys.....whats your secret? :)

Yeah for you...another girl!! At least you have all the stuff for girls already. Congrats. Glad to hear she is growing well in that oven of yours.
Congrats again! Girls rule and boys drool!!! I think the name Stevie would be cute after her dad. Or how about Yaya after her aunt! Or Scottina after all the Scott's in her life. Or Georgia because Steve's from GA and his middle name is George. Actually I like the name Georgia, seriously! Good luck picking out a name!!!
Congratulations! I think girl names are THE hardest. We were sure we were having a boy as well, but our story sounds about the same as you. It took me a few weeks to get used to the idea of this baby actually being a girl. Good luck with the second half. I am hoping that I will be done with this pregnancy by tomorrow--I'm tired of being nauseous!
Congratulations! Here's the trick to get a boy straight from my husband biology professors: male sperm are faster but they don't last as long as female sperm which can tend to hang around for a while so if you're trying for a boy, try as soon (or before) you think ovulation has begun. Good luck :)
Steve should have known marrying you that he would have all girls! It just comes with the territory. It will be the third girl in the family. Just like me... Maybe she'll be as cool as me!
Hi Lindsey! Girls are GREAT!!! Just ask my mom. We are better shopping buddies. ;)
If you'd like to try for a boy next time, Natalie is right, male sperms are faster, I just want to add that they do not like an acidic environment. So, at the time of conception, avoid acidic foods like spaghetti, oj, etc. I remember doing all kinds of research while planning our family, and it's worked for us every time!
I like Corrie as a girl name. :)
Well, I guess you just make too cute of little girls to pass up! Somebody needs to bring those beauties into the world :)
Hooray for three girls! It's a blast! I know what you mean about not finding the boy button yet...interesting advice you got about boys--I'll have to try that next time:)
